The Future in 2030: A glimpse into the unknown
Our lives are being greatly impacted by the digital
technology that has be emerged since 1891 when Nikola Tesla( known to be father
of modern technology) invented AND logic gates. The digital technology is
evolving breathlessly and no one can exactly predict what the world would be in
next decade or two.
Here is the list of some technologies that could be seen in
the next ten years, which would give the world an ultramodern look.
1. Virtual Reality:
It is basically a computer generated 3D environment that gives
a virtual look. This concept was first bought by Facebook in 2013, that bet VR
to be a huge market place. It isn't in its modern look yet. More likely we
won't be wearing our goggles or headsets by 2030 to experience virtual
environment. It would be then in its more realistic form. VR technology would
greatly impact the market place. VR will revolutionized industrial,
entertainment and business sector. It will increase the rate of online shopping
as people can experience the things virtually so a trust level would be
developed on online shopping.
Moreover business meetings and other sites tours will be
also based on VR technology. Job seeker will experience the job through VR
before joining the the company. Many of the companies are working on it and these
could replace real life open houses entirely before long.
2. Artificial Intelligence and Robotics:
The concept arise in
2010 when a chess champion Garry Kasparov was defeated by the computer. Since
then artificial intelligence and robotics have only improved.
Bots can be the best example of AI as these are the software
application that perform predefined tasks and work in the behalf of humans.
More powerful bots are to be seen in future.
Scientists are currently working on robots that can make human
like decisions and autonomous machines that can accomplish tasks without any
human guidance. These advancements can
greatly upgrade our lives.
3. Drones:
Nowadays drones
are widely used for videography and it is expected to be used in future for other
purposes also. As Amazon has announced to use drones to deliver packages, which
sounds fascinating to people as an amazon drone landing at their doorsill. But
once again don't expect amazon drones too soon.
The flight of drones can be modified and this aircraft can
be used in different ways but no one knows what these might be for the society
as a whole.
4. Driverless Cars:
Driving a car is
the most boring activity to do. If you drive a car daily you would better know
how tiring job it is. So letting a robot to drive your car can be a better
option and you can enjoy that time on some other activities like sleeping and
eating. That's why self driving cars are a win for everyone and can be seen
normally up to 2030.
5. Smart homes:
it is estimated that by 2030, more than 50% of us will be living in smart homes. These smart homes will be connected to each other and to our mobile devices, allowing us to control everything from lighting and temperature settings to security systems remotely. They will also provide insight into how we live our lives, collecting data on our daily routines and behaviors so that we can optimize our time management and energy usage. The Internet of Things (IOT) is rapidly changing how we interact with technology, as well as with each other. In fact, by 2020 there are expected to be more than 26 billion IOT devices in use worldwide—more than twice as many as there are people on Earth!
Conclusion:
These are the some
development expected to be seen in the next ten years but it is important to
remember that not all the trends develop as expected, and we can't foresee
every possibility.
